Assumed First Edition, none other listed. LONDON; Hohler & Son, 116, Victoria Street, Westminster. While this particular small book can be found fairly readily, one in this condition can not. It is an instructional book on the playing and music for the horn used by coachmen in the United Kingdom in the mid- to late-19th century. It includes the proper tunes for situations and descriptions of proper horns to be used for particular carriages.

This book contains a unique look into the world of a 19th-century coachmen and the life they led. It is written by an anonymous former coachmen who apparently was talked into writing the book by his friends.
