This rare treasure has some very clearly visible wear/age, but is still in Highly Collectible condition!

The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no internal foxing, no remainder marks, no missing or ripped pages and is NOT Ex-Library or a BCE. The binding is holding tight and the pages are surprisingly crisp and clean!

Some general/shelf wear along with bumping/creases/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, discoloration/scuffing/wear along the edges/cloth boards and marks/foxing/wear to the edge/fore pages, NOT affecting the text! There is a previous owner illustrated bookplate/sticker attached to the ffep/first blank page! The previous owner also wrote her name, "Mary Beth", on the bookplate/sticker. There is some clearly visible creases/warping/wear on this page, mainly around the bookplate. The wear was obviously caused by attaching the bookplate/sticker to the page and can be seen on both sides of the blank page. The bookplate/sticker/page was closely photographed for your consideration. Please also note the creases/wear on the spine/cloth boards and the marks/foxing/wear on the edge/fore pages! The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped!

Some general/shelf wear along with creases, chipping, marks, rips/tears and toning/age discoloration. There is also some toning/discoloration/marks on the inside of the jacket.

Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners, on both the front and rear inside jacket flaps and near/along the edges!
