1989 Tintin in the Land of the Soviets Cloth Numbered First Edition very rare

  

My aim is to sell the widest and most comprehensive range of Tintin collectables anywhere in the UK. These will include original Herge drawings, original signed Herge books, rare original Petit Vingtieme / Tintin Journals, Tintin First Editions in both English and French plus other collectables including figurines, cars, cups & plates, T Shirts, posters, framed First Edition plates, a wide range of Tintin books including some very rare items and many other items. Tintin - Tintin in the Land of the Soviets 1989 First Edition - this is the rare Cloth Edition that was produced for the exhibition and exists in small numbers - at the exhibition there were 500 numbered edition books available - this represented the first 500 hundred that were originally signed by Herge when the first French edition was published in 1929 - this particular book is number 131. The book is in new condition and has never been read as far as I can tell - a couple of small stains on the cover but barely noticeable. A very are and collectable item - how many of the original 500 are left I wonder.

Price reflects the extreme rarity - I've never yet seen one of these number editions offered for sale.
