Each of the three coins in this set was struck at a different location. This coin set takes a look at the history of The Royal Mint. Comes with a booklet detailing the stories of the three locations that the Royal Mint has called home.

Accompanied by a signed copy of The Royal Mint: An Illustrated History by Kevin Clancy, Director of The Royal Mint Museum. The Royal Mint Through Time Set brings together a coin struck at each of the three locations that the Royal Mint has called home throughout the centuries. These coins include a third guinea bearing the coinage portrait of George III struck at the Tower of London and a Sovereign struck at Tower Hill that features Benedetto Pistrucci's St George and the dragon design and a young head Queen Victoria portrait by William Wyon RA. The third coin in the set is a Sovereign struck at Llantrisant, South Wales, which features the second definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Arnold Machin RA, on the obverse and Pistrucci's design on the reverse of the coin.

This set also comes with a detailed booklet on the history of The Royal Mint, from the reign of Alfred the Great through to the modern day, and a signed copy of The Royal Mint: An Illustrated History by Dr Kevin Clancy, Director of The Royal Mint Museum.
