The cap top has a peace symbol filled with sky-blue enamel. On the barrel and cap, the word "peace" is inscribed in 15 different languages.
The pen features a micro-ball bearing mechanism inside the barrel so you can rotate it. This lets you align your preferred language (of the 15) to the front. There's a laser-cut pattern around the top of the cap of children holding hands in a circle - a symbolic motif for unity. The nib (for the fountain pen version) is 18-kt gold and engraved with a dove of peace. Editions & Variants The Pen of Peace is limited to 1,958 pieces, referencing the year 1958 (when the peace symbol was designed). There are three main formats: fountain pen, rollerball, and ballpoint. The fountain pen uses a cartridge/converter filling system. Cap and body are made of lacquered metal, with palladium trims.
