A very rare First Edition from 2004, with only 2,000 copies printed worldwide! This is a softcover book with a vinyl/plastic, silkscreen printed cover, detailing Invader's invasion of Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign.
Published 2004 by Franck Slama Editions, Paris. The book/page block is in perfect condition.
No rips, tears or folds to any pages. The outer covers do have a natural flex being plastic, so the front cover naturally rises up a little when lying flat. I have always stored the book flat rather than standing upright as it has a tendency to bend due to the plastic covers. The pages are packed with photography of the invasion sites, printed on a pleasing satin finish paper stock. The invasion maps at the back are printed on a really nice uncoated stock, contrasting really well with the photography sections.
OUTER COVERS - Refer to pictures 4, 5 & 6. There is slight damage to the upper right corner of the front cover, whereby it has been folded and a small crease line is visible. It is flat now due to years of resting in between heavy books.
There are a couple of tiny flecks of white missing from the top white stripe (next to crease). The back cover is very good overall, just a couple of tiny marks on the white stripe second from top on the spine edge. Book measures 21cm (w) x 27.5cm (h) with a spine depth of 1.5cm. Book will be very well packaged and posted using a tracked and signed for service.
