My name is Christian and I'm the creator of Arcadia Playing Cards. I'm proud to introduce to you a project that has a very special place in my heart: the Arcadia Signature Edition. The Signature Edition - based on the mythological and poetic meaning of Arcadia.

Is a state of perfect harmony in nature. It's an idealized vision and has often been depicted in Renaissance art by shepherds herding their sheep in. Think of it as a natural Utopia.

The actual word comes from the Greek province also called Arcadia. In Greek mythology this place was considered as the home of Pan, god of the forest, rustic music, shepherds and wilderness - a character that appears several times in the artwork of the deck. The Jacks in the deck are all depicted as shepherds. Inspired by harmony in nature. The Ace of Spades is designed as a crest with an idyllic illustration of a starry night inside.

There are two standard versions of the deck - forest green and earthy brown. The cards will be printed by legendary. And the tucks and fulfilment will be done by. Premium Casino Grade Paper Stock.

Gold metallic ink will be used on the courts. Comes with a double backer and an ad card you can. (see rewards for more details).

The green deck will be hot foil stamped with three different foils: green, gold and white. The brown deck will be foiled with bronze, gold and white. Both will be beautifully embossed on high quality card stock. The green version will be embossed and foiled in green, gold and white.

Bronze, gold and white foil will decorate the brown version. A sun setting behind mountain tops is the main motive on the backs. An earthy shade of brown will be used on the backs. The back design include pillars with statues of the god Pan. Detailed foiling cover the tuck boxes.

The greatest challenge of designing court cards is to make them completely customised, while keeping the "traditional court look". I want magicians to be able to use the cards in their magic routine. The courts and pips should therefore look familiar to spectators so they don't raise any suspicions. At the same time I want them to be unique to this deck. This has been accomplished by drawing the courts from scratch with unique faces and ornaments, but retaining the silhouettes of the traditional courts.

The courts are 100% custom, but still based on traditional faces. The pips are easily recognizable - perfect for magic. The King of Hearts has a 3 of Clubs reveal. The custom Ace of Spades features an illustrated spade with picturesque nature. A crown is topping the spade and within it, a starry sky can be seen behind three mountain tops. The illustrated Jokers in the Signature Edition depict Pan, god of shepherds herding his sheep in front of a sun rising behind the mountains. The deck will include two identical jokers printed with gold metallic inks.
