Karl Marx's classic critique of capitalist economy in very early/1st edition English language versions. These books are generally in very good condition, albeit with some defects. Volume 1 is the only one that has notes (very neat notes to two pages) - I've found no other notes, but it suggests the books were used for study. Each volume has similar marks to dust cover (some water damage and a few minor tears, folds/similar), but volume 2 also has some clear examples of water damage to pages (mainly corners). In truth, the majority of the condition is very good+ and even the dust jacket is very good, but it's damage is exaggerated due to the light cream colour used with hindsight a poor choice from the designer!
The interior is excellent throughout, but pages are a bit "wavy" on volume 2 - my guess would be the impact of water damage that has affected the dust covers. Overall very good and very rare. The only disappointment being the water damage that looks a bit ugly on the dust cover. Edition notes: these are first edition English language.Vol 2 is 1st/4th press. Vol 1/3 have no disclosures concerning press and are therefore appear to be 1st/1st. All the best with any offers ###128077.
