This is good copy of an exceptionally rare first edition of Noel Langley's comic masterpiece, on the basis of which he was selected as the screenwriter for the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz. Please note that this is the UK first edition published by Arthur Barker Limited in 1937 - the US first edition was published the following year.

The inside is clean, with no stamps, marks or stains, and the illustrations are as funny and exuberant as when Langley first made them.
