Trevor Grimshaw Balancing Driving Wheel Very Rare Signed Limited Edition

  
For sale a rare framed. Signed limited edition print titled. This is a signed limited edition from a Trevor Grimshaw photograph - I presume - taken at Barry scrapyard where he often visited to record the scrapped steam trains before they were lost forever. Trevor had a fascination with the decay of the trains and their interaction with their environment. It is a fantastic item and is rarely available. Out of edition of only 100 prints to the lower left and has Trevor's signature in pencil to the lower right.

It is an unusual item. The image measures approximately 40 cm by 32 cm. The print is mounted & framed in a complimentary modern black frame and measures approximately 59 cm by 51.5 cm overall.

It is a relatively large and impressive print. The print is in new condition. It is is new old stock and has only been framed recently. I highly recommend that you view the print for yourself. Please contact me to arrange.

The additional weight on the bottom left of the wheel was to balance the weight of the coupling and connecting rods attached to the steam engines piston - in order to minimise vibration and wheel bounce. I do have an engineering degree - but I admit it was a while ago - but not as long ago as the steam age - Aha! I would be grateful on more information about this wheel.
