In 1978, Sir David Frost created a publishing house called Paradine. Several classic works of literature were published, including this work of non-fiction. All of the titles were produced in leather-bound volumes with a hard-copy dust jacket and in a limited run of just 100 copies throughout the world.

This particular title, Longleat (David Burnett) was written to document the history of Longleat Country House and the family in residence over the years (The Thynness). The original print run of 100 copies was signed by the auther, while this particular sample copy was exclusively signed by The Marquess of Bath himself.
