William Harvey PRINTING IN STIRLING (1923) signed limited edition VERY RARE

  
Fifty copies printed for private circulation of which this is number 3'. This 111 page book has been signed by the author William Hardvey. In addition, there is a letter from him addressed to J. G Fairley Esq, Edinburgh which has been tipped in.

The thick paper cover of this book has a light stain on the front right edge and there is scuff marks on the back with a chip to the foot of the spine - see photos. The hand cut text pages have been creased slightly on the bottom right corner and are otherwise clean and tidy with no markings nor foxing. The book talks of Charles Randall and his successors relating the story of the'Stirling Observer' press. In addition, there is a four page flyer by William Harvey that contains supplementary notes on'John Fraser, an old Stirling printer.
